Pub soup/stew was creamy and topped with a lot of cheese and bacon. I did not try them but the french fries looked really good. Crispy. The potato salad is amazing. They took the proper amount of time to pour my Guinness and it was very good. Service is fast and friendly. I will be back.

Bravo well done! Having lived in Ireland, this business totally captures the Irish Pub vibe. My wife and I both agree the best Guinness we've had in the States and a proper pour. Loved the bangers and mash, and the Guiness Stew was tender as all get out. Service was excellent. Thank you, Christie!

Dugan’s Pub in Pinehurst has a great drink selection, memorable desserts, and some of the best fish and chips around—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. A solid spot for classic pub fare done right.

Quaint pub, not quite the Irish pub experience though. Music was rock not traditional Irish. Service was excellent, Charlie and Scarlett took good care of us along with their wee Leprechaun helper. The cheesy bacon fries could have used more of each, but were very tasty. I got the fish and chips, although the chips was really any side and since we had fries as appetizer, I got the vegetable medley of broccoli and peppers. They said they were in garlic butter sauce, but were neither buttery nor garlicky, at least they were fresh. Cooked tender so if you like a little tooth to your veg, don't expect it. The fish was tasty, but the batter could have been a little crisper. The three pieces together were about the size of a single fish in Pittsburgh, but we do things differently there. Pimento cheese burger was met with great gusto. The crab cakes were said to be good too. Owner should consider making the bathrooms unisex as they were single user and only the ladies room has any accessibility accommodations. There was a $7ish upcharge for paying with CC.

Since we frequently have doctor’s appointments in Pinehurst, we decided to have lunch at Dugan’s Pub. We were thoroughly impressed! The host promptly seated us, and the friendly and helpful wait staff ensured a pleasant dining experience. We both opted for salads. I chose the Cranberry, Feta & Pecan salad, with low-cal raspberry vinaigrette, while my husband opted for the buffalo chicken salad. Both salads were fresh and absolutely delicious. The menu prices were also quite reasonable, making it an excellent value for the delicious food. The decor of the pub reminded us of a pub we had visited in Dun Laoghaire, Ireland, called “The Two Foxes.” We highly recommend Dugan’s Pub and will definitely be returning in the future.

I always have such an amazing time here! I came to have lunch and a drink to kick back during the late afternoon, and the atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. I had the Dougans burger and mozzarella sticks! So yummy! The food is absolutely amazing and our server Xayda is absolutely fantastic in every way possible! She is very attentive and pays attention to details and goes out of her way to make sure the experience is everything it should and can be and more! She is very well educated when it comes to both drinks and food on the menu. She makes some killer awesome tasty drinks!! Not to mention the playlist she had playing had superb music which really just pulled the whole experience together even more. Xayda is the best!!

Food was delicious and service was great! Buffalo chicken sandwich was to die for! Huge piece of chicken very juicy sauce has the right amount of kick. Bangers and mash were good as well.
